About Us
Sugar Sweet Cake Company is a locally owned and operated boutique cake & cupcake studio, in Kelowna, BC.
Our owner, Kirsten, is a classically trained Red Seal Chef, born and raised in the Okanagan, who has trained with chefs from all over the world, most recently including master cake designer and sugar artist, Ron Ben-Israel.
From a young age she had a love for decorating cakes and cupcakes (mom would bake, she would decorate). When she became a mom herself, she put those pastry skills and formal training to use, creating fanciful cakes for her young sons.
And then the rest of her family
And then her friends
And then friends of friends....until one day she got so many
inquiries about cakes, she realized it was more than a hobby...
?It was a passion.
