Meet the artists...
Just the idea that 'a picture could tell a thousand words' beckons Arlene Currie to paint. She is drawn to images that push visual boundaries. Using vibrant colours; diverse subject matter; and quirky compositions (usually gathered with her camera), Arlene brings her next visual story to life! Meet the artists…
Cecile Derkatch.
Cecile's education consists of four years at the University of Alberta Extension program and four years at a private art education school. She has been affiliated with various arts groups, including the Society of Western Canadian Artists and the Federation of Canadian Artists.
